Our Activities
A day in life of our cows

Morning
The cows wake up around 5:30 am. The Goshala team collects the cows’ urine and cow dung; the highly pure and holistic urine is used for making Gomutra Ark and cow dung is used for composting and organic pooja samagri.
At 6:00 am, cows are fed chara (as well as aata) through troughs and feeders in gaushala as grazing should not be the only form of diet.

Open razing
At around 8:00 – 9:00 am, the cows are ready to go for open grazing assisted by two staff members from the Goshala. As the doors open, the cows rush to the forest and happily graze on the lush green grass in the mountains. They relish drinking from the base of waterfall.
While they are away, the Goshala staff cleans the dung from the barn. Collection of cow dung/gobar happens throughout the day to keep the sitting area of the cows clean. Twice a week, the staff changes the earth bed (it provides for cushioning for cows resting)

Cows Return
The cows return from grazing and at 5:30 pm they feast on the freshly kept green grass. Cows take rest in the barn with a clean, dry, comfortable resting area and easy access to water.
